Monday, December 12th at 7PM, the annual Benjamin House Holiday Benefit returns LIVE and In Person for the first time since 2019 with an all-star lineup of talent gathered to honor and celebrate Benjamin House, a home for mentally challenged adults in Elizabeth City, NC. Featuring legendary cabaret star Karen Akers, MAC Lifetime Achievement recipient Marta Sanders, luminous Broadway star Amy Spanger (Tick Tick Boom, Rock of Ages, Chicago, Kiss Me Kate), the sensational tight harmony vocal quintet Marquee Five and a host of others, this season’s edition, Don’t Let Christmas Pass You By, will be performed for the first time at Chelsea Table + Stage.

Benjamin House was the inspiration of Lennie and Ann Hughes, dedicated to their son Benjamin, and created to provide a loving, stable and productive home environment for its residents, as well as support for the greater community through their outreach program. Many of the artists appearing on December 12th have appeared in past benefits both in NYC and in Elizabeth City. It’s an evening filled with the holiday spirit and made up of songs of the season, of gratitude, of family, of hope and of inspiration.

This will mark he first time the event has been performed at NYC’s hottest new venue, Chelsea Table and Stage, and the evening will also be live-streamed for the benefit of those who cannot attend in person.
