Marquee Five was honored to perform three of Neil Sedaka’s hits at an August 2nd tribute concert that included the songwriting legend, himself, pictured above with the Concerts At Tudor City Greens team of artists and crew.

July, 2012:
Marquee Five had a blast opening for Off-Broadway’s Voca People on Wednesday, July 18th.


September, 2012:

Marquee Five welcomed swing Lynsey Buckelew!

Lynsey Buckelew is a gospel-born, classically trained opera singer who spends her time singing musical theater. Since arriving in New York, she has performed in several workshops and readings, and recently performed in a cabaret at The Triad with some of Broadway’s best. Some of her favorite regional credits are The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Pippi), Into the Woods (Cinderella), and most recently Sisters of Swing (Laverne) at Infinity Theatre Company. Lynsey filmed the movie *hitbird December, 2012. Visit Lynsey’s web site for more information.

Lynsey covers the alto role originated by Sierra Rein, who will be starring on the Disney Cruise ship Magic through June, 2013.


May, 2013:

Marquee Five debuted at 54 Below with “Broadway By The Letter: Act One”, a brand new collection of Broadway material, arranged with the group’s signature harmonies, humor, and heart. 

Featuring swing Lynsey Buckelew on alto and Mark Janas on piano, "Broadway By The Letter: Act One" is a harmony-infused tribute to theatrical composers, shows, and songs, presented in alphabetical order with a wink and a few surprises.

June, 2013:

Marquee Five was featured in the North Jersey PrideFest at Memorial Park in Maplewood, NJ, following a moving speech by Cory Booker.

August, 2013:

Presented by Midtown Direct Rep, Marquee Five reprised “Broadway By The Letter: Act One” at SOPAC in South Orange, NJ, featuring the return of alto Sierra Rein and the Marquee Five debut of bass alternate Christopher Whipple.
